About FWQ

Floating Wolf Quarterly presents poetry in chapbook form, uniquely designed for the information age. Each quarterly edition offers the work of an established poet paired with the work of an emerging poet.

Print versions of each chapbook are available exclusively from any desktop browser's standard File » Print function.

Christopher Louvet designs and edits FWQ. He may be contacted through for any questions or comments. Please note: FWQ does not accept unsolicited submissions.

Rights

FWQ holds first electronic rights for each chapbook it publishes; where individual poems have previously appeared elsewhere, acknowledgement is given. Copyright for each chapbook reverts to the author upon publication.

Technical Requirements

This site uses HTML, CSS, and Javascript to deliver poetry in a uniquely readable online format. It has been developed for the latest versions of Safari, Firefox, Chrome, and Internet Explorer 8.0. iPhones and iPads also render FWQ chapbooks optimally.

Internet Explorer 7 and Opera display FWQ chapbooks functionally. Other browsers, lesser versions of the above, and other devices have not been tested and likely will not realize FWQ chapbooks as they have been intended.

FWQ Suggests

If you're in or traveling to south Florida, you should buy a bespoke poem at the Poem Depot, a poetry pop-up store brought to you by the Miami Poetry Collective. Additionally, the University of Wynwood does much to promote literary life in the area, including the anticipated poetry festival, O MIAMI.

FWQ has a special affinity for the fictions of Scott Geiger, who reads on occasion in New York; one story of his, A Design History of Icebergs and Their Applications, is available online.
